Worden Hall is a grade II listed building at Worden Park, Leyland. The Hall is nestled within the beautiful Worden Park with plenty to explore. Complete with its very own maze, formal and walled gardens, play area and model railway it’s the perfect place for our wedding
our very own love story
we first met – seems like yesterday!
Like so many modern love stories, ours began online. We met through a dating site, took a chance on a simple conversation, and quickly discovered a connection that neither of us expected. What started with a few messages soon became countless laughs, unforgettable memories, and a love that has brought us to this very special day. We’re so grateful that one click changed our lives forever.
we finally went on a date !
Our first date took us to the beautiful town of Skipton, where we joined the queue for one of its famous pies. As we stood waiting together, chatting and getting to know each other, the conversation flowed so naturally that the time seemed to fly by.
we fell in love instantly – well almost!
It was a chilly day in Skipton, and although she didn’t say anything at the time, Iwona later admitted she was secretly hoping David would put his arm around her and give her a cuddle while we waited! He may have missed the hint then, but thankfully he didn’t miss the chance for a second date.
… and he finally proposed!
As our love continued to grow, David knew there was only one question left to ask. On Valentine’s Day, he got down on one knee and asked Iwona to marry him.
Without hesitation, she said “Yes!” It was the perfect beginning to the next chapter of our story—a day filled with love, happiness, and the promise of a lifetime together.
From a chance meeting online, to our first date in Skipton, and a Valentine’s Day proposal, every step has brought us closer to this moment. We can’t wait to celebrate the start of our forever with all of you.
